Deborah Darling Gray

Born in 1951 in Buffalo, NY Deborah Gray moved to New York City after graduating from Binghamton University. She worked in production management for the publisher Charles Scribners’ Sons before moving to California in 1977. Not long after she received her MBA from Golden Gate University.

Deborah started painting in the early 1990’s at the Painting Experience Studio, started by artist/author Michele Cassou, in San Francisco as a way to develop herself creatively. Painting took on a ‘life of its’ own’.

After painting in a studio in Sausalito, CA she became a member of the Art Works Downtown community in San Rafael, CA in the fall of 2002.
