Fall, Friends, Food and Art are there to be discovered under the Redwoods at the 61st Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival in Old Mill Park.
Experience two full days of fine arts and crafts for sale from 130 local and national artists plus live music, children’s entertainment and art projects.
Scores of Festival volunteers staff the gates and the Poster, T-Shirt and information booths during this annual two-day event. Much needed support comes from all areas of our community including: in-kind services and donations from the food and beverage providers who partner with Mill Valley nonprofit service organizations.
Entertainment by fabulous Bay Area performers at the main and children’s stages is included with the gate charge. Children’s craft activities are supported by local high school student artists and youth organizations.
This year we honor local artist and theater set designer Steve Coleman who will create a fanciful place in the grove sponsored by Good Earth Natural Foods, “Sailing to Byzantium”. If you have ever been in the 142 Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley, you have seen Steve’s work, not only on the stage but also throughout the entire magical, whimsical interior. Steve is also the set designer for the Curtain Theater as well as regional theaters. Coleman, a native of Mill Valley is a Milley awardee and a local treasure.
Over 100 artists exhibiting, see full list.
