Arts at the Marin County Fair
Marin Arts Council programs activities at the Marin County Fair on July 4th and 5th this summer.
Stop by our tent on the Special Events Lawn on your way into the Fair. We'll be making hats, painting faces and offering participatory activities. Marin Chinese Cultural Association will be there both days as will native American bead-maker Frank Ross. On July 4th only Richard Lang's Poetry Jukebox will be open at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Come by and say Hi!
The Ben and Jerry's Solar Stage is located at the main crossroads of the festival, in the central plaza between the food court and the Giant Ferris Wheel. In keeping with the Fair's theme of global connections, we've booked a collection of performers representing a variety of international styles, cultures and traditions on the Ben and Jerry's Solar Stage.
