Glen attended the Brooks Institute in the mid-1970's where he learned that technical excellence in the craft was the only acceptable standard, and with 4x5 film costing $10.00 per image it was also a financial necessity.

During the 1980's Glen successfully developed his career as a professional photographer and went on to work with a wide range of clients including Ford Motors Co, General Motors, Chrysler, the Lear Corporation, the NY Port Authority,  US Air, architects and contract management firms nationwide and such companies such as Formica, Delta Faucets, Walker Zanger Tile, Ann Sacks Tile, Kohler,  Wolf,  Anderson Windows, Pella Windows, Sub Zero and every major kitchen cabinet company including SieMatic.  He has been published internationally many times and in dozens of U.S. publications such as the Wine Spectator,  the NY Times, Architectural Digest, and the Robb Repor.

In 2007 he created what has become PhotoArts Marin and teaches a wide range of classes from The Foundation of the Craft and Art of Photography,  Visualize The Art of Seeing and Capturing the Artistic Vision, Photoshop, and private sessions designed to meet the needs and goals of the aspiring photographer/artist student. As Itzhak Perlman said: "If you want to become great at something teach it."  That is absolutely true whether in the craft, the design or post-production.

" I believe that photography is a truly unique art form capable of both clearly capturing the real world or as a tool for fanciful artistic expressionism.  Every image is as unique as it’s maker but there is no substitute for the commitment to create the best image possible without relying on post-production repairs or disguise. "
