Antenna Theater presents The LOVE PLANE Experience, Sunday, October 1st from 2-5 pm.

A  skywriting plane will fly over the Golden Gate Bridge drawing a heart to celebrate the culmination of the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of LOVE in San Francisco.

This idea, from Chris Hardman, Antenna's artistic director, is to gather the tribes to express our common love near the Golden Gate Bridge,  to "bridge"our differences and to unite us.

This public art event will include decorated vessels from harbors around the bay: historic sailboats, dinghies, outriggers, kayaks, and powerboats.

The event will be visible from Crissy Field, Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz, Angel Island, and most waterfronts around the bay.

And it’s FREE.

The LOVE PLANE Experience is open to all those who wish to celebrate love in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bring a peace flag and a blanket to watch the events from the bay’s edge, or reserve a view table at a restaurant like Green’s and Sam’s. Join a buddy with a boat decorated with hearts and flowers and head out towards the bridge, or buy tickets aboard a charter boat to view and celebrate the event.
