Diana’s father was an internationally renowned watercolorist. As a child, watching him work, she realized there was something absent from his pieces… shadow.

Developing her own style, the focus has always been about the contrast and interplay of light and shadow.  The quality of the light, the clarity or translucence, the hue or the lack of color and what it allows one to see or keeps hidden.
