Exploration, sensory experiences, social interactions for mom and toddler. Not a teacher-led experience, but a child-led experience. No instruction and not a structured class.

Art Explorers – Art School 4 Mini’s (toddlers)

An exploratory, creative, hands on, fun, first art class. Sensory exploration in art creativity in your toddler. Dress for messy.

Art + Science STEAM! – Ages jk/K

Explosions, bubbling paint, biology, astronomy, and physics are all a part of this age appropriate class! Students will begin to explore how science and art work hand-in-hand and that most scientists have to understand art.

Kindies Sewing Class – Kindergarten and tk – Private class (drop-off class)

Great after school class for a calming and relaxing learning. Sewing instills design thinking while also creating a learner that gains step-by-step tools through patience and perseverance.

Mixed Media – Ages 4 to 6 (drop-off class)

This is a very fun and inventive class. Mixed Media Madness is a time for students to explore while discovering how paint, drawing, clay, fabric, and recycled materials can be used together.

Clay + Play – Ages 4 to 7 – semi-private class

Our young students will even get a chance to learn how to throw on a potters wheel. Learning traditional clay techniques such as slab construction, coiling methods, sculpture, and pinch pot.

Make + Takes – combining craft and art – Ages 6-9

Working with photography, clay, mosaics, printmaking, t-shirt design, fabric, wood, jewelry creations, weaving, and more. Each student will begin to find their creative voice when executing contemporary ways of thinking and working as a craftsman.

We will take students from just learning about clay, to creating amazing art works from clay. Mid fire earthenware is used at S4A to create works that have strength and are food safe.

Art + History Session – Ages 7 to 10

Upcoming and historical artists explored through drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media. From throwing paint at large canvas, building tall sculptures with clay and found pieces, graffiti art using non-toxic spray paint, and mural making, every class will be wildly wonderful.

Drawing + Illustration – Ages 8 to 14 – Semi-private class
