Sing Out! with featured alumni Happnstance plus ‘Til Dawn A Cappella 2017-18 & “Still Dawn” a chorus of ‘Til Dawn alums.

Happnstance, an indie-folk trio born out of the San Francisco Bay Area, found itself together by chance. Each member, having sang with one of the others in years past, found their paths crossing after returning back from far flung locations. Yearning for a musical outlet, the three convened in the living room of a Mission home in the Fall of 2015.

Sean Simerly, Maria Pougiales-Posey, and Danielle Bezalel learned that their voices were stronger together than apart, and that no single formula for songwriting found its way to the top. Instead, the three craft melodies that stumble upon themselves; they discover harmonies that clash yet comfort; and by the end of each song leave the audience feeling something more than they had before.
