Capvara the Clown is a circus performing artist from Brazil. He presents original performances including the Toilet Paper Show, Son of Fire and DJ SoundClown in diverse venues for family-friendly events, festivals, community shows, as well as adult parties, dancing and nightlife. He has performed at the Fairfax Festival, 19 Broadway, BrasArte and in artistic residencies including the Ark Project in West Oakland.
In 2017 he co-founded an artistic residency The House of Sustainable Arts (www.casresidencia.com) in Salvador, Brazil. Together with his partner Jamie Lee of Lee Productions Bay Area, they have produced international artistic residencies, community performances, workshops, and shows throughout Brazil and California.
