I studied painting and design at Paier School of Art, Coronado School of Fine Arts and Philadelphia College of Art. I’m retired now from a forty year career as a designer. I have been teaching painting (with watercolor) for the past six years in Mill Valley. In Oakland, I help with CWA’s Community Outreach program teaching Vietnam veterans. I taught design at a university in Montréal and at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. And I teach for several weeks each year at Yosemite in their artists in residency program through the Yosemite Conservancy. I’m on the board of directors of the California Watercolor Association and am Director of their National Exhibition. I organized their Members Shows in recent years.
I’ve just started teaching classes in August (2020) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael and will start another class for the Town of Corte Madera in October.
