Having worked 30 years as an artist, I have learned a sundry of materials, worked in many mediums and have learned how to integrate all of those together providing me the opportunity to merge mixed media, acrylic and watercolor in a variety of manners.
My inspiration for most of my works come from wildlife and nature. Building textures and layers in multiple fashions to provide a sense of visual depth. Many of my pieces offer a sense of peacefulness and love, I enjoy working with the spirit of each specific animal as I paint.
I have painted murals most of my life working in a rather larger scale which drew me to paint primarily on wood panels.
I have a degree in Art/Art Education and have taught art at the College of Marin Continuing Education, as well as private and group instruction in my art studio in Terra Linda.
