Five years ago I mostly abandoned my representational approach to painting which had been my main emphasis for the past fifty years. I am now absorbed in a more serendipitous approach to my art with the sole emphasis being the aesthetic. I embrace the challenge of the unknown and, I suppose, have become a bit of a fanatic about the virtues of abstract art.
