CALIFORNIA’S HISTORY IS RICH with the great Chicano arts traditions. In Marin County, MarinArts embraces, showcases, and partners with communities from all of Marin County’s diverse cultures.

Marin’s artists and musicians provide a colorful tapestry of multi-cultural experiences and opportunities. Throughout the year, you’ll find musical entertainment including mariachi, salsa, tango, Aztec, Mayan, and hip hop. You’ll also find arts and crafts, poetry and literature, performance and films offered through galleries, schools, parks, and libraries.

MarinArts invites organizations, artists, educators, and presenters from the Latino and indigenous communities to regularly post cultural events and arts classes on our online calendar. Artist from all disciplines—painters, makers, poets, musicians, and more—are encouraged to post profiles.
