For thirty five years the Harmony Sweepstakes has been delighting Marin audiences and is now the county’s longest-running music festival and certainly one of its most popular. Begun in San Rafael in 1984, the event has grown to become the leading showcase for vocal harmony groups nationwide with winners of the seven regional competitions from around the country flown to San Francisco to compete in the National Finals.
