Shelter-in-Place order in effect through May 3

Marin County Public Health has issued an updated stay-at-home order requiring residents to stay at home, except for essential activities. This includes specific restrictions for all parks, open spaces, and campgrounds, which are closed to motorized access. The new order extends through May 3, 2020.

Community members may travel through nearby preserves, parks, and pathways on foot, bike, or horseback, for necessary exercise, if they abide by social distancing requirements. That means go out alone or with members of your household. Keep at least six feet away from other people.

If closure signs are posted, do not enter. If you see too many people, go to another area or visit at another time. People with disabilities that affect mobility may access parks by motorized means as needed.

See Marin County Parks COVID-19 updates for more information.

All Marin County Parks locations remain closed to vehicles, as well as other restrictions. These restrictions are necessary to prevent the spread of infection during the COVID-19 pandemic health emergency. Stay home, save lives.

Residents may access nearby parks, pathways, and open space on foot, bike, or horseback, only for necessary exercise, while maintaining social distancing. View the location list.
