Beginning Painting

Try something new this new year! How about painting? This is for BEGINNERS!

Dive into painting this winter!

In this 5 week class, you will learn about basic color theory, color mixing and basic composition.

The first 3 sessions will be devoted to learning these essential elements of painting then painting a still life in black and white and then in color.

The final 2 sessions you will delve into abstraction. Over the course of the five weeks, we will also look at the work of other painters, both emerging and established, via slideshows.
