Dance, Listen, Create, and Play All Day with Youth in Arts!
* Saturday, May 20, 10:30 am – 5:30 pm
Attendees will enjoy a FREE arts-focused community festival featuring: student music and dance performances, teaching artist performances, hands-on family arts workshops, Children’s Avenue (chalk mural), local food and drink from El Yucateco, Julie’s Hummus Bar, and Pink Owl Coffee, community nonprofit resources from Marin CASA, Marin Foster Care, Multicultural Center of Marin, collaborative student art exhibition, a full-length `Til Dawn teen a cappella concert, and more!
The event also serves as a culminating arts sharing for the San Rafael City Schools (SRCS) elementary school students, for the 2022-23 school year.
In partnership with SRCS and HeadsUp San Rafael Public Education Foundation, Youth in Arts has served all 3,100 children in the district with semester-long programs in visual arts, music, or dance, for the full-school year, helping to bridge the arts equity gap in our own community.
