CWA 48th Annual National Exhibition — Reception Jan. 6, 3-5pm

Marin Society of Artists is proud to be the venue for the California Watercolor Association‘s 48th National Exhibition  January 3 – January 31, 2018.


Juror of Selection—Dean Mitchell
Renowned artist Dean L. Mitchell is well-known for his figurative works, landscapes and still lifes in watercolor as well as other mediums. He is the recipient of more than 600 awards, including American Watercolor Society Gold and Silver Medals and the T.H. Saunders International Artists in watercolor competition in London. His art is featured in corporate and museum collections as well as five galleries throughout the country. Mr. Mitchell’s work has also been featured in numerous publications, including American Artist, Southwest Art, Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine and Fine Art International.

Juror of Awards—Myrna Wacknov
Myrna Wacknov is an artist and workshop instructor specializing in figurative and portrait character studies, which has been her calling since high school. She studied in St. Louis and California. Myrna has received many awards and is a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society, California Watercolor Association and San Diego Watercolor Society. Her portrait process was featured in Watercolor Magic, and her work has been featured in many publications.
