Call for Artists: Yountville Art, Sip & Stroll
Napa County’s largest Visual Arts Event (to be held on June 12) is seeking Artists
The Yountville Arts Commission would like to extend an invitation to you to join us for the largest VISUAL ARTS EVENT in Napa Valley, the 9th annual ART, SIP & STROLL on June 12, 2021
Application deadline: March 7
We are open to all mediums including painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, and more.
Due to the uncertainty of the in-person event, we will not be collecting fees until the final decision has been made. The fee is $275 which includes a 10’ x 10’ peaked festival tent with two side walls.
Booths will be located in an outdoor location in central Yountville. The planning committee will assign artists to booth locations. If we do not move forward with the in-person event, there will be no charge to chosen artists for participation in the virtual event.
Artists are responsible for their own sales and retain 100% of their proceeds. We encourage artists to demonstrate their creative methods whenever possible for a live expression of their talent is a proven method to better engage the visitors for conversation and sales.
Regarding Covid Related Safety….
Our 2020 event pivoted quickly as the COVID Pandemic altered all our lives. We were able to support our artists with a terrific online event which contributed to sales and exposure to our 62 artists who participated.
Going into 2021, we are cautiously optimistic that we will be able to offer an in-person event but have Plan B in place to move forward virtually regardless. If we are able to move forward with the in person event, we will still be offering the web presence and beautifully crafted website to drive more awareness to our chosen artists and their art.
If you are interested in participating, please submit your application by March 7 to be a part of Art, Sip & Stroll 2021 and show off your talent in the charming village like setting of Yountville and on a professional and eye catching website built for our event.
Yountville is known for its Michelin Star restaurants (French Laundry, Bottega, Bouchon, Bistro Jeanty and many more), and our abundance of tasting rooms, (Hill Family, Hestan, JCB, Hope & Grace, Silver Trident, Jessup Cellars, Stewart). Yountville Arts promotes this event heavily with partnerships through Visit Napa Valley, the SF Chronicle as well as rack card distribution throughout the Bay Area and a robust digital marketing campaign. It is also a part of the valley wide Arts in April promotions and with full marketing coverage this event has grown in stature and attendance each and every year.
$275 in-person participation fee (includes booth)
If we do not move forward with the in-person event, there will be no charge to chosen artists for participation in the virtual event.
