A Community Art Exhibition Presented by Cedars and The San Anselmo Arts Commission

Digital Entry Deadline:  July 11, 2022 

Delicious Exhibition:  September 10, 2022 – November 11, 2022

What feeds your mind, body and soul?  Cedars and The San Anselmo Arts Commission invites Bay Area artists to enter a juried exhibition of work that expresses feelings of abundance and pleasure.

Representational work may depict food or anything else that adds to the sweetness or savoriness of life.  Abstract work and 3D work are also welcome.  Accepted pieces will be displayed alongside art by Cedars artists at Artist Within Gallery in San Anselmo.

Categories accepted:  Sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, collage, mixed media, and fiber art

About the Jurors:

Christopher West is a Northern Californian artist, who lives and works in San Anselmo, CA. West’s work has been shown nationally and internationally and can be found in numerous public and private collections. He has been a member of the faculty of the Fine Art department of College of Marin for over a decade and serves in an advisory role for several organizations locally and at the state level. BA, Humboldt State University, MFA, M Ills College.

Ashley Harris is a photographer and Teaching Artist from the Bay Area who holds an MFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute. She has taught and managed arts programs for various museums, including the San Jose Museum of Art, the Crocker Art Museum, and the de Young. She is currently part of the program team at Ruth’s Table in the Mission District of San Francisco, an inclusive art space that serves elders and adults with disabilities. At RT she coordinates arts programs and exhibitions and helps to spearhead accessibility efforts and community engagement. Through her work with students and artists Ashley has witnessed the power of the arts in fostering connections, confidence and belonging and she is committed to preserving inclusive arts experiences in the Bay Area and beyond.
