A collection of poems by Collette Sell

Collette Sell is a committed poet, gardener, and Buddhist practitioner. Each of these informs the others. She is a member of the Marin Poetry Center, the O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, and PEN International.

The San Miguel Writers’ Conference and the San Miguel Literary Sala have deepened her commitment to craft. There she met poet Judyth Hill who continues to serve as both inspiration and editor for her work.  Abby Wasserman’s encouragement supported Collette as she found her voice, and The Grotto, an esteemed gathering place for writers in San Francisco, helped to open that voice.

She has been published in Tiferet: Offerings, Volume III and Pensive: A Global Journal of Spirituality & the Arts. Collette Sell has lived in one house for 39 years, and with one husband for 45 years. She doesn’t move fast.
