Contemporary Painting for Youth age 10 -15 w/ Beth Waldman

This 4-session class will introduce students to 2 contemporary artists during each 2 hour session.

We will talk about the ideas they introduce in their materials and techniques.

Students will create paintings inspired by the artist’s style, materials, and/or ideas.

At the end of each session, each student will present their artwork and talk about their own ideas and techniques in an open discussion format.

Targeted ages of 10-15. Exceptions can be approved on an individual basis.

Protocol: Masks to be worn. Please bring your own water bottle and snack. Outside space is easily accessible. The teacher is fully vaccinated.

Beth taught several zoom workshops for young artists last year that were very well received.  She is excited to bring the process to O’Hanlon in Person!
