Eos Ensemble with Baritone Tim Murray

The Eos Ensemble will perform music inspired by nature with guest artist SF Opera Baritone Timothy Murray on June 16th at the Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley.

The program will include Barber‘s “Dover Beach” which evokes the waves on the ocean, a selection of Schubert Lieder depicting the rippling river and a capricious trout, and Ravel’s well known String Quartet which uses musical “impressionism” to evoke many possibilities to the listener, perhaps a sunrise in the opening theme, or fierce gusts of wind in the finale.

This concert is the first of the 2022 Twilight Series at Throckmorton Theatre.
