Explore Sketching for Fun with Lee McCaffree
* Friday, October 6, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Sketching is a fun way to record things, whether it is something in nature or a memory. Visiting the current Sketchbook Exhibit at the Center will give the class an inspiration.
Participants will use basic black and white tools as we start with simple drawings. The object is to do quick sketches and get something down on paper.
There will be opportunities for many sketches without concern for perfection. As the class moves to more complicated subjects, students can add more details.
These images can lead to further study or be a memory journal. If desired, color can be added in many ways such as colored pencil, water color pencil, or paints.
All levels of experience are welcome. This will be an outside workshop in the Picnic Grove, so supplies should be basic. Experienced artists may bring the color tools you usually use. A materials list will go out to participants before the workshop.
