La Fogata Productions proudly presents its fifth Festival Gastronomico Salvadoreno 2018 (Salvadorian Food Festival) which celebrates the famous Salvadorian “Fiestas de Agosto” (August Fest).

It is a tribute to the Salvadorian gastronomy and it is the highest concentration of Salvadorian restaurants in one location in Northern California that brings the most exotic specialty dishes, beers and drinks from El Salvador sometimes not found in local restaurants.

Featuring from El Salvador is the world famous “pupusa” – a thick handmade corn flour or rice flour tortilla stuffed with cheese,chicharrón (cooked pork meat ground to a paste consistency), refried beans or loroco (a vine flower bud native to Central America). A sure delicatessen you can’t miss.

Live music featured by Los Hermanos Flores, Banda Blanca, Fiebre Amarilla, Oro Solido, Fuego Latino, for sure will bring great entertainment to everyone. Also, vendors from El Salvador and other Latin American countries will display their specialty food and products, arts and craft, and typical Salvadorian clothing.

Come and enjoy the Festival Gastronomico Salvadoreno on September 2, starting at 10:00 am.

There will be entertainment for children of ALL ages.
