Celebrate Tassajara Cooking with Chef Edward Espe Brown
Celebrate cooking as a way of living life to the fullest with Edward Espe Brown, a founding chef at California’s Tassajara Zen Mountain Center and author of “The Tassajara Bread Book,” “The Tassajara Recipe Book,” and now, “No Recipe, Cooking as Spiritual Practice.”
First published more than 30 years ago, his book on bread and baking became a favorite among renowned chefs and home cooks who were drawn to his humor and insights along with his wonderful recipes. The author is a Soto Zen Buddhist priest as well as the subject of a 2007 documentary titled, “How to Cook Your Life.”
Join us for an evening to please the palate and lift the spirits. All proceeds from this event will benefit shelter and job-training programs at Homeward Bound of Marin.
