The Walker Rezaian Creative HeArts exhibition is now in its fifth year at the YIA Gallery.
The opening reception coincides with the 2nd Friday Art Walk in downtown San Rafael. YIA staff have been busy creating an interactive cardboard world as a backdrop for the art.
The Walker Rezaian Creative HeArts Kindergarten Arts Program was created by Walker’s family and Youth in Arts. In celebration of his life and love of art, the program provides for a visual arts residency for Kindergarten classes in selected schools, along with parent and teacher trainings, a student show and a community celebration. The portraits on display were created during a Youth in Arts’ residency.
