Lido Cantarutti presents the 2017 Forty-first Anniversary
Eight films: fresh, recent comedies and dramas from Italy. A perennial favorite in the Bay Area, this festival includes appearances from Italian film directors and composers, dignitaries of the Italian and Italian-American communities, and an authentically Italian atmosphere at every presentation. The Festival centerpiece is always top-quality Italian cinema.

The director of “The Mafia Kills Only in the Summer” offers this love story of Arturo’s dream to marry Flora, set against the backdrop of war-torn Sicily.
All films in Italian/original language with subtitles in English.
