Jacqueléne Ambrose: Clock Artistry - True North Trio

For October’s Art Walk, McRoskey presents an exhibit of art and music to inspire your mind and revive your soul.

This evening’s visual stimulation will be provided by the artwork of Jacqueline Palmer-Ambrose, and music will be performed by the Bay Area’s own True North Trio.

Jacqueline’s fascination with unusual clocks has inspired an ongoing expression of her creative imagination that flows like, well, clockwork!  Her Clock Artistry clocks are hand made, one-of-a-kind pieces that incorporate a variety of repurposed objects into functional arbiters of time.

Shawn Miller’s True North Trio is the collective result of years of intuitive work by three dynamic musicians whose paths are crossing for the very first time. Years of dedication and commitment to creativity has been channeled into the development of fresh, new interpretations of Jazz standards, some well known, and others a bit more obscure.
