Janis Loewengart Yerington creates small, intimate still lives in oil on wooden board.

Each jewel-like painting is 10 x 10″ and is lovingly made in a labor intensive traditional manner resulting in individual pieces that are both contemporary and eternally romantic.

Subject matter is of single ingredients: the local produce that comes into Janis’ kitchen and the eggs laid by her backyard chickens.
