New documentary about Tom Killion learning traditional hand-printing in Japan
Tom Killion and Chikara Motomura will be at the O’Hanlon Screening for a Q & A.
O’Hanlon Center is honored to screen the new documentary by Chikara Motomura Journey to Hokusai about local and internationally renowned printmaker Tom Killion.
The film beautifully documents Tom fulfilling his dream of learning a hand-printing technique with a master printer in Japan.
Journey to Hokusai was premiered at the 2019 Mill Valley Film Festival in October.
