Artist Statement:
In this world of busy-ness, I choose to wander. I pause and see beauty that others may pass by.
The peace and ethereal nature of Earth is there if you choose to look for it.
The mood of a place—composed of color, texture, line, form, mystery, ambiguity, and light—draws my eye through and beyond that in front of me to capture the essence of place.
Kimberley Carr Harmon Photography is all original work by Kimberley, a resident of Marin County. She draws inspiration from nature, composition, and an emotional connection to the earth.
Her photographs are realized visions of her spiritual relationship with nature. Some abstract, some traditionally composed, her pieces are versatile in their ability to adapt to the environment they are placed in, as well as keeping a strong force of nature in the rooms they occupy.
In this world of busy-ness, Kimberley brings a calm to interior spaces, and a place to breathe and take in nature’s beauty.
