Michael Krasny in Conversation
with Marc Hershon “Let There Be Laughter”

Thurs, December 1 @ 7:30 pm

Celebrated and beloved KQED Forum host Michael Krasny has been telling Jewish jokes for so long, it has been said that he knows more of them than anyone on the planet. In his latest book Let there be Laughter, Michael pairs the most iconic Jewish jokes with wise and entertaining explanations, illuminating the cultural expressions and anxieties behind the laughs.

Tonight Michael will be in conversation with comedic writer & producer Marc Hershon, followed by audience Q&A and book sales and signing.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Interesting on-stage conversation & Good Laughs. Concessions of Peets Coffee/Tea/Fresh bakery goods avail for purchase and allowed in theater.

Borrowing from traditional humor and such Jewish comedy legends as Jackie Mason, Mel Brooks, and Joan Rivers, Larry David, Sarah Silverman, Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer, Let There Be Laughter is an absolute pleasure for the chosen and goyim alike.

Marc Hershon likes to think of himself as a Renaissance Man minus the Black Plague. He has concurrently done radio announcing, produced live comedy shows, write comedy, perform and teach improv, draws weekly editorial cartoons, written TV movies for the Hallmark Channel, authored a business book (I Hate People), performed weddings, and is a branding professional. He’d like to be an astronaut when he grows up.
