From the Mesa Refuge Gathering Room
~Co-presented by Point Reyes Books~
Join author Lara Bazelon and fellow Mesa Refuge alum Anna Lappé for a lively conversation about her new novel A Good Mother, “a powerhouse legal thriller…an exploration of ambition, responsibility, and the sacrifices of motherhood.”
These two dedicated professionals and mothers will speak candidly about the issues of gender bias, sexuality and culpability that the two young mothers in Lara’s debut novel face.
A Good Mother has been called “sexy, shrewd, and wholly contemporary.” You don’t want to miss this!
