Theme: 

How has your art been affected by artistic styles and cultures from other parts of the world – or even here at home?
Some artists are energized by the delicate brush work of Japanese Sumi-E paintings.  Others by the vibrant brushstrokes of the French Impressionists.    Are you inspired by colorful African patterns?   Moved to paint to the sounds of jazz or a Latin beat?  Show us what has influenced you.

You are invited to submit digital images of up to three (3) of your original works, not previously shown in a Marin Society of Artists juried exhibition. Open to all media except video, film and installation art. Only online entries with digitally uploaded images will be accepted. Digital entries must be received via online application before midnight February 17. Notification will be by email of accepted and non-accepted work. Note: all accepted artwork must be hand delivered to the Marin Society of Artists (no shipping or mailing).  Cash awards.

Juror: Diane Williams. Diane holds a Master of Fine Arts degrees in Studio Art and Consciousness studies from John F Kennedy University in Berkeley, California. Additionally, she has studied at the University of Hangzhou China, incorporating calligraphy, traditional Chinese landscape painting and Chinese medicine with her western art practice.

Artwork delivery: Sunday, March 5, 12pm to 3pm and Monday, March 6, 10am to 1pm.
Show opens: Friday, March 10
Opening Reception: Friday, March 10, 5pm – 8pm
Show closes: Saturday, April 1, 4pm
Pick up artwork: April 2, 12pm to 3pm or April 3, 10am to 1pm
