The winter solstice marks a transition between seasons, inviting us to turn inward and make space for renewal.

In this end-of-the-year online movement workshop, we respond somatically, shift with the changing rhythms of our bodies, and slow down.  Movement Ritual and Dance Explorations weave in sensations, feelings, and images, as we find inspiration from darkness and light.

Participants will explore structured movements devised by Anna Halprin that help relax the mind, expand range of movement, and spark creative expression. Please have a comfortable space to move. Drawing and writing enrich our movement experiences.

Open to all. No dance or art experience needed.
