Virtually experience a regency dinner party, a setting central to MTC’s world premiere

In anticipation of Marin Theatre Company‘s upcoming production Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley join us for a Jane Austen inspired event.

Celebrate Jane Austen’s birthday and join us for Dining with Darcy, a regency dinner party experience. The dinner party and the novel go together in the works of Jane Austen.

Now, join Kate Moore, English teacher and author of eighteen Austen-inspired historical romances, to go behind the scenes and create a Regency dinner party for the likes of Mr. Darcy and friends.

This interactive event gives participants a chance to plan an evening for a guest list of local beauties, their chaperones, eligible bachelors, and grand dames, arrange proper seating, and devise a seasonal three-course menu of period dishes and table settings.

Working in teams, participants will prepare a virtual feast with courses, removes, and desserts. When the carriages are ready to depart, participants will take home recipes to make. Register to attend.
