Marin Shakespeare Company offers free online Spring Break classes for youth and teenagers

Moving to the Shakes-Beat – Ages 8 – 12
10:00 – 11:00 am

In this class, students will explore different ways to use their bodies as storytellers.  Through playing with different styles and qualities of movement, we will discover how the body can tell stories of ourselves, other characters, and Shakespearean text.

Shakespeare in Times of Plague – Ages 12 – 18
4:00 – 5:00 pm

Enjoy a casual and informative discussion on the history of plague in Shakespeare’s stories.  Students will explore the idea of storytelling and writing when facing uncertainty and limitations on day to day life, and how creative expression connects us to the very core of what makes us human.
