Writing workshops open to 4th-8th graders – via Zoom
What’s your story? Tell us, tell the world, in your own voice, as only you can.
Don’t know how to get started? We have a workshop series for you to explore creative self-expression through poetry, flash fiction, and non-fiction.
Your teachers are California Poets in the Schools teacher, librarian, and published travel writer Lea Aschkenas, and published poet/editor and librarian Margaret Stawowy.
To participate via Zoom, register in advance. You’ll be sent a link for the event and a password.
Register once for access to all three workshops:
- POETRY: Tuesday, June 2th
- FICTION: Tuesday, July 7th
- NON-FICTION: TELLING YOUR COVID-19 STORY: Tuesday, August 4th
