LOCAL>> Ponder-in-Place: A Personal Narrative Writing Workshop for Adults

Zoom workshop for adults, using immediate, daily experience as a portal to writing

Tuesdays, November 17, 24 and December 1, 8, 15, 22 | 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Virtual Class on Zoom. Registrants will be sent a Zoom link upon registration. Register here

In this continued creative writing workshop, we will use the immediate, daily experience of life today, in particular the shifts that have occurred after the arrival of COVID-19, as a portal to writing. Students will be encouraged to keep a digital daily log of journal entries, images, and other multimedia in order to fuel their in-class writing.

Our focus will be nonfiction: memoir and personal essay. Please try to commit to attending all six classes in this workshop.

Sarah Broderick works as a writer, editor, creative writing instructor, and part-time assistant at the Mill Valley Public Library. She is a rotating editor at The Forge Literary Magazine and served as Diaspora Editor for Lavil: Life, Love, and Death in Port-au-Prince.
