Online Art Exhibit
Online solo photography exhibit exploring a slice of America through a Bay Area lens
Virtual Roundtable:
* Thursday, July 15, 4:00 pm
Exhibition Dates:
* June 16 – July 30
O’Hanlon Center for the Arts presents Suz Lipman‘s solo photography exhibit, American Stories, which runs online from June 16-July 30, 2021.
American Stories considers the activities and spaces, and the social and visual cues, that define a contemporary slice of America, through a largely Bay Area lens. Through thought-provoking photography, in a colorful and lyrical documentary style, the exhibit asks the viewer to contemplate which pastimes and places are part of a larger American experience, and which are unique to particular locations, eras, subcultures and even individuals.
Most of the photos were taken in San Francisco and Marin.
An Artist’s Roundtable with Suz Lipman will take place on Zoom July 15, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. (PDT), providing an opportunity to learn more about and discuss the photos.
Suz Lipman’s photography has appeared in The International Center of Photography, Black Box Gallery, The Image Flow, Marin Society of Artists and O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, among others.
