Marin Tranquility, Urban Calm features a solo exhibition of paintings by contemporary representational artist Mary Anne McKernie.

Often rendered by palette knife, the works are inspired by the natural and built environments of the Bay Area. McKernie’s color palette can be traced to years of design and color consulting. To achieve luminosity, she employs a full spectrum of hues and uses color sparingly.

This exhibition offers the opportunity for viewers to access, and enjoy, illuminated harmony through familiar environments.
