Mason Bowen Bondi has been making art all of his life. Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County, Mason’s father is a prominent blacksmith and metal artist, and his mother is an oil painter.

Working in a San Rafael studio, Mason’s recent work focuses on familiarity, exploring what is considered familiar and further strives to represent the common and frequently seen as well as bring forth and illustrate the interior chambers of familiarity.
