The 25th Annual Summer Series of live music, dinners, cocktails, picnics, dancing, Kid Zone, and fun celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love with Melvin Seals and the JJrry Garcia Band.
A night for flowers in your hair, tie-dye, bell bottoms, peace, love & happiness. Come dressed as you did or might have and ready to to celebrate the “Summer of Love”.
Melvin Seals has been a powerful Presence in the music industry for over 30 years with a long-established reputation as a performer, recording artist and producer . Melvin is most revered for his powerful, high-spirited, Hammond B-3 organ, and keyboards in the Jerry Garcia Band. Adding his rock-gospel- soul-rhythm and blues touch with his funky style of playing, no wonder Jerry nicknamed him “Master of the Universe”. Melvin continues to treat music lovers to his unique brand of melodic flavor. Come see and hear for yourself, the Soul of the Bay…Melvin Seals.
The evening begins with Youth in Arts teen a cappella group ‘Til Dawn singing songs from the era.
The Summer Nights outdoor multi-cultural music series has been created to celebrate diversity, find commonalities, and bring generations together through live music. Five consecutive Saturday nights of great music, under beautiful Marin Skies in an intimate and beautiful setting – Five evenings of community building through the arts.

Directions
From Highway 101 in San Rafael, take the North San Pedro exit and head east. The Osher Marin JCC, at 200 N. San Pedro Road, is on the right-hand side, half a mile from the freeway exit.
Free Parking
* The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center's parking lot is located directly in front of the building with parking spaces for disabled patrons available.
* Additional parking is available at the JCC Annex lot, located at 210 N. San Pedro Road (just east of the main campus). In the event of multiple programs, or heavily attended events, overflow vehicles may be directed to available street parking or on adjacent properties.
* Evenings and weekends only: There is additional parking across the street at Venetia Valley School.
