Mill Valley Philharmonic Fall Concerts

The Mill Valley Philharmonic begins its 2018-2019 season with conductor Paul Phillips leading a program of Mozart, Dvořak and Carl Maria von Weber, with flute soloist Carol Wincenc

Mill Valley Philharmonic will present its first concerts of the 2018-2019 season, featuring music by Weber, Mozart and Dvořák on November 7, 9 and 10.

The concerts will be led by Guest Conductor Paul Phillips, one of three conductors who are candidates for the permanent position of Artistic Director. Joining Phillips and MVP will be renowned flautist Carol Wincenc.

 

Open Dress Rehearsal:

Wednesday, November 7  –  7:00 pm

Concerts:

Friday, November 9  –  8:00 pm*

Saturday, November 10  –  4:00 pm*

* Pre-concert talks begin 45 minutes before scheduled concert

C.M. von Weber – Overture to Der Freischütz

W.A. Mozart – Flute Concerto in G Major, K. 313

Antonín Dvořák – Symphony No. 7 in D Minor, Opus 70

Concerts are admission free, but reservations are strongly advised.  Suggested donation: $20
