Violinist and Composer Dan Flanagan
Violinist & composer Dan Flanagan performs new solo violin pieces, inspired by painting or sculpture
Noon Concerts Series to the Throckmorton stage, filling our theatre with the warmth and beauty of classical music!
* Wednesday, January 18, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Violinist and Composer Dan Flanagan performs new solo violin pieces, each inspired by a painting or sculpture from his own collection. Just three months after giving the world premiere of each composition at Carnegie Hall, this performance will be performed with projected images of the art that inspired each piece. Composers include Mill Valley residents Shinji Eshima, Jose Gonzalez Granero, and Evan Price.
Our concerts are for everyone, so please share this gift with your family, friends and neighbors and join us once again as we celebrate the transcendent power and uplifting of a community through live music.
