Patrick Maloney paints and sculpts figures and patterns which emerge from inner experience and has evolved a language related to art made by our early ancestors.
His influences have been archaic art, tribal art, working with children, and early Christian art.
Patrick has exhibited his drawings and paintings throughout the Bay Area, including solo shows at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Rental Gallery, Allport Gallery in San Francisco, and The Marin Community Foundation.
Patrick has taught art in many settings including schools, Marin County Juvenile Hall and San Quentin Prison for over 30 years. He lives in Nicasio, California.
This exhibit is on display in the Redwood Foyer Gallery, in the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
