Filmmaker Gaetano Kazuo Maida will present and discuss a 20th anniversary screening of his own film portrait of Thich Nhat Hanh
Maida began filming Hanh in 1990, when he was little known outside of Buddhist circles, following him from his Plum Village community to public demonstrations against the then-impending “Desert Storm” conflict with Iraq.
