The Library hosts several staged readings in collaboration with the Playwrights Lab each year. The Lab, newly resident at the Library, is a group of professional Bay Area playwrights who meet monthly to share works in progress with one another and hone their works through collective input. The readings feature a single, full length play cast with outstanding local talent under the guidance of a professional director. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Time permitting, audience feedback is facilitated after each reading to enrich the creative process.
