Susan Grossman has long been lauded throughout the United States for her charcoal and pastel scenes of bustling downtown city life.

They are instantly recognizable by the uniquely restrained palette of black, white and grey with strategic touches of color to accent the subject.

In this exhibition the artist has taken the same approach to illuminate some of Northern California’s most iconic coastal towns and villages as well as her classic urban subjects.
